LISD to host ‘State of Northern Caldwell County’ Nov. 1
Public invited to hear growth and economic forecast from community leaders
Lockhart Independent School District Superintendent Susan Bohn, Lockhart Mayor Lew White, and Caldwell County Judge Ken Shawe announced a public meeting of the Northern Caldwell County Coalition to provide an update to community members about the growth and economic forecast from school district, city, and county leaders. In addition, Countywide Realtor Amelia Smith will provide an overview of the current local real estate market.
Everyone from the community is invited to attend.
The meeting takes place 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Wednesday, Nov. 1, at the Gerry Ohlendorf Performing Arts Center at Lockhart High School.
“It is so important for the school district, city, and county to maintain regular and open communication to ensure we are closely working together to meet the challenges of growth and create additional opportunities to ensure the vitality of our community,” said Bohn. “We look forward to sharing information with the public to update the community and keep them informed.”

The Northern Caldwell County Coalition (NCCC) is a partnership between Lockhart ISD, the City of Lockhart, and Caldwell County. The coalition meets quarterly, and both the Lockhart Chamber of Commerce and Hispanic Chamber of Commerce are regular attendees.
